Literacy Project Proposal

One thing this school needs to encourage reading is to create an ad campaign that does not just surround encouraging people to read in general. These ads are boring, and nobody is really going to be interested in reading if there is not any actual substance to the ad. I believe an easy way to fix this would be to create a social media account that promotes reading in an interesting way and encourages participation from other people. To do that, I believe the best course of action would be to create an Instagram account that will post daily book suggestions from all types of literature . On top of posts suggested by the account admin, there will also be stories where people can suggest books that they enjoy reading to help spread the word and allow people to hear from their peers, and not just an adult who might like an entirely different type of book. Reading Reflection

 This week for my Contemporary Literature class I was asked three questions, and in this post I am going to answer them.  Reflection Questions     1. What has your English class experience been like so far?      2. What has your reading experience been like so far?      3. What are you hoping to gain by taking this class?      So far, the way that I would describe my experience with English class over the years is easy. For as long as I can remember, I have always been good at english class and never really had to try when it came to reading, writing, and taking tests. I remember I'd sometimes choose to read a book and write the essay at the same time the night before, and even then I'd still get an A on the assignment.
